I'm Ditching My Jeans For The Pants Taking Over Fall 2021

I’m not sure who decided that jeans are the de facto pick for everyday bottoms in the fall, but I’d like five minutes of their time to demand why. As someone who has recently returned to their office (and therefore must remember to sit like an adult human all day long) pants that allow for some semblance of stretch are an absolute must. Sure, there’s a time and a place for that perfectly distressed, high-waisted vintage denim, but after eight hours of desk work, my stomach isn’t exactly a happy camper.

Enter the leather jogger: my back-to-work secret weapon for looking stylish and feeling cozy. It’s beyond easy to just throw them on with an oversized blazer and a t-shirt, or a knit vest and a button up. Just cap it off with a bright red lipstick and your favorite pair of sneakers or boots and you’re ready for a full day of running around the city to appointments and meetings. Stock up in multiple muted colors if you’re a fan of uniform dressing, or go bold with an unexpected burgundy or Kelly green pair. You can do no wrong when you’re got the timeless silhouette nailed down. Consider it fall dressing made easy.
