Breaking Market Moving News Heading into 10/11/2021:

StockTips News Key Takeaway: Goldman cut the US Economic Growth forecast for 2021 & 2022 which all but assures increased uncertainty & volatility. May lead to some seriously good dips & over-reactions. Still keeping some money to the side to buy possible fire sales & value deals. I’m remaining prepared to average down on current positions & possibly entering new ones.

• Goldman cuts forecast for US economic growth in 2021 and 2022

  (The FUD Tracker Above is a List of Indicators as to Why, & it Looks as though Goldman is Cooking the Books on this One. I was Expecting a Larger Cut. If Goldman’s Participation in MBS Ratings before the Housing Crises is any Indicator of their Ability to Properly Rate Economic Conditions, then this is Likely off by Design. They know they Need to Lower GDP forecasts to Maintain their Credibility but do not want to Lower GDP forecasts to a Point where it will Create a Panic)

• Beyond Evergrande, China’s Property Market Faces a $5 Trillion Reckoning (It will not be pretty, stay away from China & heavily Chinese dependent stocks).

• Job openings, inflation data, JPMorgan earnings and Blue Origin liftoff top week ahead

Todays STOCK TIPS: If its on this list (BELOW), I’m either holding a position or considering it for my own portfolio.

Note: I likely have a different trading style than you. Therefore I may look at stocks & approach the market differently than you. I trust the financials. I mostly target reliably profitable growth stocks trading at a value on a dip of no consequence pending favorable economic conditions. I buy in slow, & sell the excess, if necessary, on the parodic pops above my cost basis. I love covered calls on volatile stocks. I build positions by buying in slowly in the red & I’m willing to run the clock on what I see as a promising trade. I also expect & account for uncertainty & constantly re-evaluate. FOMO to me is an F-word. I don't chase & I never buy meme stocks. I am willing to limit profit to guarantee it & there is nothing I love more than a market panic. I outperform impatient folks swinging for grand slams because I hit homeruns while swinging for base hits. Quite often plays can take as long as a quarter, or perhaps more, to pan out. Discipline goes a long way. Discipline, however, is a lot easier if you know what you’re trading.

• Added to List Today: Nothing added today, lets see how this Goldman US GDP cut settles in. Once again I will not add anything unless I have a great deal of confidence in current share price value, growth potential, & the favorability of current/future economic conditions. Party when the market is deep red, exercise caution in the green.

• Notes: Goldman Sachs cut should create some uncertainty. Perhaps I can get some of my value growth picks at a better price. Perhaps some of the stocks on the Price Based Assessment Watchlist will trigger this week. Always good to keep some money to the side during times such as these. I don’t bother averaging down until I’m down at minimum 5% or so. Having bought some excellent & promising companies under favorable economic conditions already on a value pullback, sometimes its best to wait & see if bad news can increase the bargain.
