The Ankle Boots Every Stylish Woman Is Wearing For Fall

Over the weekend, I wore my ankle boots, an olive green leather pair, for the first time this year, which signaled to me the start of autumn. I no longer reach for my sandals or kitten heel mules, instead my lug-sole ankle booties and Chelsea styles line the shoe rack. As I turned over my current wardrobe for fall options (see you later my breezy floral dresses!) I also briefly thought about next spring.

No matter how premature it may seem, as a fashion editor I'd be remiss to ignore Fashion Month, which ended last week, and all the spring 2022 trends that emerged from the runways.
