When Microsoft promised to “think through every pixel and detail” in Windows 11, I think we all knew what would happen next. The Windows 11 rollout is a rocky mess, with missing features, strange bugs, and clashing design elements. Oh, and typpos. I mean tipos. Sorry—TYPOS.

Early adopters discovered a glaring typo in the Windows 11 Paint app, a clear sign that Microsoft isn’t obsessing over every pixel in the new operating system. Not only that, but there’s a mislabeled button in MS Paint that will make your head spin. Check out our top story, where we break down the whole MS Paint debacle.

Other Highlights:

  • Acer is trying to cash in on antimicrobial laptops. And while the laptops are pretty cool, the antimicrobial thing is misleading.
  • This software lets you use your iPad as a secondary Windows display. Yeah, for your PC.
  • iFixit’s new “teardown” wallpapers let you see your iPhone 13’s internals.
  • Adobe just launched a free PDF editor for Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
  • … and more! πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡

It’s not the end of the world, but it’s a clear sign that Microsoft didn’t “think through every pixel and detail” while developing its new operating system. Read More »
