If you’ve never seen the movie Braveheart, stop reading my newsletter, cancel your meetings, and go watch the movie.

This quote is a wake-up call to everyone living a life that’s not really living. What a terrible tragedy that is! Some, even many, people are in situations where they have few choices available to them.

What choices do you need to make today to really live? I’ve been asking myself this question recently and often times the answer isn’t easy or comfortable. But I’d rather experience true life in a risky or uncomfortable way than die having not truly lived.

In The News

1. The SEC approved the first Bitcoin futures ETF late last week. I think it’s more likely than not that this news is what’s propelling crypto markets higher at the moment.

2. The CFTC fined Tether $41 million for “misleading customers about the quality of the reserves that back its stablecoin.” I haven’t been able to determine if this fine puts the issue of Tether’s reserves to rest from a U.S. regulatory perspective. If that’s the case, this is actually a good news story for crypto too.

Cardano Updates

1. ADA Handle and Sundae Swap announced a partnership recently to help improve user experience in crypto and Cardano. Awesome user experience is one of Cardano’s superpowers in my opinion.

2. Cardano released the mid-month technical update a couple of days ago. It’s well worth a listen if you’re interested in the status of smart contracts infrastructure.

   

Technical Analysis / Price Discussion

Cardano ADA price action continues getting coiled like a spring into a very tight range. When springs release, it’s a powerful experience.

The last three times that Cardano ADA’s daily Bollinger Bands were this tight are indicated on the chart below. Those scenarios resulted in 400%, 100% and 160% gains in 30 - 40 day windows.

A similar move now takes ADA to the $4-8 range. It’s not only possible, I think it’s almost likely. One thing is for sure. ADA will not stay in this tight trading range forever.
