The 2022 State of Independent SaaS Survey is now live! 

We are back with the third annual State of Independent SaaS Survey, the most comprehensive look at the state of bootstrapped and mostly bootstrapped SaaS founders in existence. 

You'd be doing me (and all B2B SaaS founders that are competing with venture backed companies) a huge favor by completing this year's benchmark survey. 

To say that the SaaS building community landscape has chanced since we launched first survey and report would be an understatement.

The 2022 State of Independent SaaS Survey will explore some of the themes that we have looked at over the past two years while also digging deeper into areas of staffing, past performance, outside funding, and more.  

The report will be used to:

• Capture a year-to-year snapshot of independently funded SaaS baselines for things like churn, MRR, growth rate, visitor to trial conversions,  Lifetime Customer Values, NPS, and more.

• Identify trends in marketing, hiring, and pricing and their direct impacts on growth potential.

• Highlight any cautionary tales in guru influenced strategies that might not translate to other entrepreneurial experiences.

• Create recommendations and best practices in B2B SaaS growth strategies. 

✅ Should I take the survey?
If you are the founder of a SaaS (or subscription software) company that is currently operational and generating at last $1/month in revenue, we need you to complete the survey! 

The more data we are able to pull together, the higher quality insights and recommendations we can create.

🙈Is it anonymous?
The survey is anonymous and your data will only be published in aggregate.  

⏰ How long will it take?
The survey is mobile friendly, about 55 questions and should take you less than 15 minutes (for most it’s 7-8 minutes).
