The world is going through a lot of change. Our approach to life and the way we interact with the world needs to change at the same time.

That doesn’t mean your values have to change or what you believe in needs to change. But it does mean that if something is important to you, you may need to adjust your choices and actions to keep it a priority or defend your rights.

Change is difficult. It’s hard enough when it’s your choice. It’s worse when it is forced upon you. But, it’s impossible to avoid. So, “change before you have to.”

1. Facebook is renaming itself Meta in a ridiculous attempt to take advantage of the next big thing. It’s too bad they don’t share the core values behind the growth of blockchain and crypto. For that reason, count me out of anything they build.

2. Meme coin SHIB has exploded and “flipped” DOGE. I feel the same way about this that I did about DOGE. It won’t last and stay away.

2. There’s been some community concern raised around network performance around really big NFT drops. Fahadouken took to YouTube to articulate those concerns and it’s worth a listen.

Technical Analysis / Price Discussion

Barting is a term used by some traders, mostly in crypto circles, to describe price action where price spikes or drops, moves around within a tight range that looks like the top of Bart Simpson’s head, and then returns to the prior level.

You can see a few examples of it from back in early September. Not the cleanest or most precise example, but you get the idea. I’ve been watching recent price action and thinking that we may see something similar soon to return us back to the 50 & 100D EMA levels.

Just one thought for what may happen near-term. As you all know, I’m not doing a lot of near-term trading at the moment, but I do evaluate what could happen near-term to make sure my longer-term strategies are still ok.
