TODAY at 3 p.m.: Are the Democrats screwed?

Join a live discussion with Ryan Grim, investigative reporter Lee Fang, and Washington editor Nausicaa Renner.

Are the Democrats screwed?

After last night’s dramatic defeat in Virginia, will the party learn any lessons in time to course-correct before next year’s midterm elections? Or will continued dysfunction in Congress continue to stymie popular and progressive priorities?

The Intercept’s D.C. Bureau Chief Ryan Grim has been chronicling the rise of the party’s insurgent wing for years. He argues that it’s gradually putting an end to Clinton-era subservience to moneyed interests but that “for now, the party’s past still has a death grip on the present.”

Today at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT, Ryan Grim will join in a live discussion with investigative reporter Lee Fang and Washington editor Nausicaa Renner.
