After Latil Tarium wins the throne, the first order she gives is creating a Harem of Men, her official consort and concubines, with 5 men who can offer her both body and soul. After the order was passed, people were astonished and wondered why Latil wanted to create a harem. The Men of the Harem is an ongoing webtoon series created by HereLee and Alphatart.

The Kingdom of Taroum entered peace, which created the current situation where Latil needed to choose an eligible person to become her Royal Consort. Latil surprised everyone when she declared that she will choose 5 men from different walks of life who can join her harem.

Sir Sonnaught

Although we wish Sir Sonnaught to be with Latil, he chose not to disclose his feelings and stay closer to Latil to protect her. Sir Sonnaight is not a harem candidate, but he feels the best person as a love interest who only holds the best interest of Latil and protects her always.  It’s sad that Latil doesn’t consider him as a romantic interest. Sonnaught is the captain of the imperial guard and Latil’s elder brother Raean’s friend.

Klein Abisinaugh Karisen

Latil met Klein Abisinaugh Karisen at Hyacinth Karisen’s wedding. Latil was still heartbroken at Hyacinth’s betrayal. Getting off drunk, she met Klein Abisinaugh Karisen before the wedding. Little did she know back then, that Klein was Hyacinth’s younger brother.

Klein is under the illusion that Latil is head over heels over him, and quite unaware that Hyacinth and Latil shared history together, not until much later, Hyacinth decided to backstab Latil. Latil sent a harem invitation to Hyacinth’s country, as they are in a strategic alliance and every nation is sending an eligible bachelor. Latil wanted to spite Hyacinth.

Even Latil had never expected Klein will show up in the harem as a consort candidate.  Klein was disappointed as Latil didn’t visit him even once when he entered the harem. Klein is the prince of Karisen and hailed as the most beautiful man in Karisen.

Ranamun Brautuscha de Atraxil

Duke Atraxil is one of the loyal retainers and supporters of Latil. He helped Latil secure the throne against her half-brother Thula. Duke Atraxil proposed and hoped his son Ranamun Brautuscha de Atraxil to become the royal consort when he wasn’t aware that Latil planned to take 5 people in her harem.

Initially, Ranamun was against the idea of entering Latil’s Harem, but when Latil declared the consort conditions, guess it hurt Ranamun’s ego. Ranamun was dead set on joining and harem and wanted to win Latil's heart and body so much so he wanted to be good in bed. Ranamun is hailed as the most beautiful man in Tarium.  Good luck Ranamun.

Guesta Rhodes

Latil and Guesta Rhodes knew each other since they were children. Guesta Rhodes is the second son of the Chancellor of Tarium. Not much is known about him at this point. Guesta Rhodes was shown as a meek and shy guy who often hid from Latil when they were young.

Guesta Rhodes is seen as the least threat in the harem, but shockingly that’s not all to his appearance. He pretends to be a weak, gentle, and submissive guy, but can he be hiding his true dangerous personality? Is pretending to be weak a charade, guess time will tell. Latil is concerned for Guesta but even she is not aware of his true personality.

Tasir Anghes

Latil wanted to test the harem candidates and went to meet Tasir Anghes. They had quite a nice encounter. Tasir Anghes is the heir to the Anghes Trading company who is quite influential and wealthy in Tarium.  Their influence is seen even outside of the country.

Tasir is a shrewd, handsome, and sly man who cannot be controlled. He can see through the deception and was the first person to speculate Guesta Rhodes is faking his personality. Not only that he was able to deduce that Latil and Hyancith have a history, and Klein is unaware of the truth.

That’s not the only thing that makes Tasir Anghes interesting.  Tasir is associated with a secret organization that was commissioned by the emperor of Tarium, tasked in secrecy to protect the kingdom. Initially, Anghes and his organization had doubts and suspected that Latil had a hand in assassinating the previous emperor. Tasir entered the harem to legitimize the family and connect with the royal blood through political marriage.

Carlein

The most mysterious man in Latil’s harem is Carlein. Like other candidates, Latil visited Carlein but never got to meet him. Carlein is an assassin, regarded as the king of mercenaries. He is the leader of the Black Repears Mercenary.

His motive for joining the harem is yet unknown but his mysterious personality is to watch out for. When Latil visited Calein he was acting in a master-slave setting. He is hiding something but his motives are hard to figure out. Whether he’s an ally or a threat only time will tell.
