New series: build an Airbnb clone with Next.js

Hi Reader

This is Tuesday and as usual, here I am with the latest tutorials I wrote.

Last week I skipped the email as it was black friday week and I thought your inbox was already filled with emails.

A lot has happened in those 2 weeks, let's catch up!

I started a new series of blog posts where I'll clone popular apps. I've got a long list in mind.

The first is an Airbnb clone with Next.js. It's going to be pretty cool!

Let me know if you like this idea, and if you got an app you'd like me to clone in the future.

I bought a new domain. bootcamp.dev will be the home for next year's Web Development Bootcamp, my flagship course. I'm super excited about this new domain for the bootcamp, it's short, memorable, and 🆒 😎. Here's a writeup on that purchase.

I am continuing the series on the wonderful Astro, the static site generator that lets you create the site with a JSX-like syntax and generates a site in plain HTML:

I like it a lot.

Remix reached 1.0 and was released for free and MIT licensed, so I checked it out and decided to write an introduction to it. I see it as an alternative to Next.js. Promising!

Wrote a couple tutorials on Git:

And the list of new tutorials goes on with these writeups:

Have a great week!
