December 8, 2021

Microsoft’s beloved Notepad app just got a fancy-schmancy redesign for Windows 11, and we think it’s a breath of fresh air! Despite being one of the most commonly used apps on the OS for years, Microsoft always just kind of ignored it.

Now, however, it looks great! It has dark mode, which we love, and even boasts a few new features. We took a look at the app’s makeover in our top story today, and we think you’ll like what you see. Come take a peek!

Other Highlights:

  • Looking for a good screen protector for your brand new Nintendo Switch? We rounded up all the best options.
  • If your Chromecast keeps crashing (ugh, so frustrating!), it’s likely a memory leak. Don’t fret though, as this update can solve the problem.
  • Oppo is so over bulky camera bumps, so it’s teasing a new retractable smartphone camera that keeps things flush.
  • … and more! Scroll forth!
