Despite a correcting crypto market, the play-to-earn space is still buzzing with news and releases. The big buzz this week is coming from Ubisoft with the announcement that they’ll be bringing NFTs in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon. Ubisoft is the first big studio to adopt blockchain technology and to integrate NFTs in a AAA game.
On a less bullish note, we recently heard that CryptoMines will be shutting down, following a lot of FUD and a huge price drop for the $Eternal token. A good reminder that the space is still very young and the market extremely volatile. But there are for sure lessons to be learned, for companies, investors, and gamers.
