Cigarettes could become history in New Zealand
. Proposed legislation would raise the legal age for buying cigarettes every year, meaning anyone aged 14 or under will never be able to start smoking. Bhutan banned all cigarette sales in 2021.

The good

Britain will ban ‘dumb’ passwords. Weak default passwords on devices (e.g. “password” or “admin”) will become a thing of the past as part of a new law in 2022. Consumers will also gain new rights to security updates.

The bad

Climate misinformation is being spread across YouTube. That’s according to a top climate scientist, who wants climate change denial videos to be removed, in the same way Covid-19 denial videos are treated today.
