Thailand levied Crypto Traders with 15% Capital Gains Tax

• In its latest move on crypto regulations, the Thai Finance Ministry has levied a 15% capital gains tax on the profits of crypto traders and mining operators.
• The ministry has directed traders to report their incomes when filing taxes this year.

• OpenSea, an NFT marketplace, has secured a $300 million investment.

The SEC has postponed its decision on the NYDIG Bitcoin ETF

• NYDIG, a subsidiary of asset management Stone Ridge Holdings Group, filed an application for “NYDIG Bitcoin ETF” in February of last year.
• The SEC had planned to give a decision by January 15 but now announced that the deadline will be extended for another 60 days.
