Yesterday's Poll:

Would you rather be Instagram famous or infomercial famous?

Instagram famous: 59.8%
Infomercial famous: 40.2%

Yesterday's Question:

If at all, where have you noticed inflation the most?

Mark from Ohio: "The grocery store. In Northwest Ohio, the price of a lb. of ground beef has nearly doubled in the last year. Fortunately, wine prices have remained steady, so all is not lost."

Toby from Maine: "Five Guys double bacon cheeseburger"

Elisha from Pennsylvania: "Rent and food and candy. A Snickers at the store used to be $1.09 now it's $1.19. Apparently that's where I draw the line because I refuse to pay that much for a smaller Snickers."

General Feedback:

Julie from Ohio: "Love the newsletter and Instagram feed! Must admit I laughed out loud when I read Piel Island’s “population is estimated at 10 people.” Must be hard to count them all! Keep up the great work!"

Laura from Brooklyn: "You should have hats! you can call the Roca (re)Caps!"
Games Answer(s):
1) United Kingdom 2) Colombia 3) France 4) Cuba

Final Thoughts

We know that things can get grim in January, which experts consider the worst month of the year (not actually), so we want to leave you with this uplifting message: You could spend your entire life searching for a news source that doesn't make you want to bury yourself underground like a badger.

But you all are lucky – and have managed to find it already, in 2022. Think of those poor Millennials who won't sign up for the Rundown until 2083, when their robot caregiver does it for them. You have saved yourselves a lot of heartache, and for that, you deserve a great weekend.

Enjoy it!
