Forbes - Free rapid tests on the way

Starting Wednesday, the federal government will allow Americans to order up to four free rapid Covid-19 tests per household. This is part of a push by the Biden Administration to resolve shortages in at-home tests - a shortage often made apparent by signs on the doors of pharmacies noting they have no tests in stock. The government has ordered 500 million of the tests, which will ship via the U.S. Postal Service and arrive around a week after being ordered. If you are lucky enough to find a rapid test in a drug store, private insurance companies will be required to reimburse you for up to eight tests per month.
