Editor's Note: The goal is to publish weekly. This is another quick intro email. This explains more the motivation behind the newsletter. Look out for the first issue on January 5th.


There are so many places to publish content. But not all of these places are spots where you own your content or your even your account on the platform.

Sites like LinkedIn offer you reach and community, but you don't own your account there — you rent it. This is also true for the other social platforms that provide you a place to pontificate (ex. Medium, Twitter, Facebook, etc.).

I've recently been granted access to the newsletter feature on LinkedIn. I, of course, jumped in and tried it out. I love the reach it provides, but I don't like how it's only for those on LinkedIn.

Time To Move

This is why I'm moving all of my writing that isn't directly related to Goldstein Media to Marketing Junto on Ghost.org, an open source platform. Here I own the experience, which I like. I can also include other thought leaders to contribute as well.

This year (I can't believe it's 2022!), I'm hoping to have some of my good friends from around the marketing world share and pontificate about marketing on this site as well.

For the foreseeable future, all of the content will be free to everyone. If you'd like to contribute and become a premium subscriber to support this effort, I'd be forever grateful. Eventually we will be offering premium content, but as you know, we have to start somewhere.
