Hello to my dear readers.
This week was pretty crazy in terms of engagement.
We’ve got a few Premium members on the board. In addition, people mentioned us on Twitter more than usual.
We’ve got a bunch of new cool micro-startups. I need some time to post them on the website.
The “Looking for a partner” section becomes more and more popular. So it makes sense to keep it in the newsletter.
Besides this, I’ve prepared 2021 overview slides.

📈 Year overview
Only 6 months have passed since I started Microns. But anyway, I have some numbers and slides to share with you.
Let’s start our summary with the newsletter. Everything started with building an audience by writing this newsletter.

For 6 months in 2021, we acquired over 2,100 subscribers. On average, 47% of them actively opened and read the newsletter. At all, we sent 31 issues.
That’s 350 subscribers every month 🔥

At the end of the year, we launched the Premium plan. That’s helped us pay bills for the domain, servers, and sponsorships.
So, we’ve acquired 22 customers who paid us $2,283 net revenue, and we helped 12 founders to sell their micro-startups.
Sounds good for the bootstrapped startup, isn’t it?

My main revenue-generating business is still my software agency.
But I have a big hope that Microns beat it in terms of net revenue this year.

This week we discussed with my premium members the next set of new features.
The first one is about the Premium page. I want to refine the copy and content to make it more attractive. 
I think it’ll help us convert more people into Premium members.

Metrics for the startups are the second feature I focus on. Again, I want to help buyers do some due diligence, giving them more helpful information upfront.
Last but not least is the affiliate program. I want to reward our promoters for every paying customer. So I’m going to make it so sweet in terms of reward.
