Road pricing could be coming to the streets of London. Mayor Sadiq Khan warned ‘drastic action’ would need to be taken to meet the city’s climate change targets. If approved, a scheme could start as early as May 2024.

Airbnb billionaire Brain Chesky will live full-time in Airbnb properties
. Following the company’s own commitment to remote working, its billionaire CEO said he will live in a rotation of properties on the platform. He credited the ‘decentralization of living’ enabled by remote working.

The good

There will be an electric car boom in America in 2022. Experts predict nearly 2 million electric vehicles will be sold in the United States alone, along with a shift towards charging infrastructure emerging as a new investment class.

The bad

Antibiotic resistance killed more people than Malaria and AIDS in 2019. Over 1.2 million people died from antibiotic-resistant infections, according to a new study in The Lancet. Experts warn antibiotic-resistant bacteria has become one of the most pressing issues in public health.
