The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines a cold war as “a condition of rivalry, mistrust, and often open hostility short of violence especially between power groups.” Does this not accurately describe the current relationship between the radical left and normal America today? Radical leftists and normal people have two very different visions for America. The radical leftists want American and globalist socialism along with its requisite control of the population. Normal Americans are nationalists who want freedom. The battle lines were drawn quite some time ago.

Leftist Strategies and Tactics

Propaganda, suppression of speech, brinkmanship, wealth redistribution, and demographic change are five strategies that have been employed by the radical left for the purpose of furthering their socialist take-over of America. Propaganda begins with the leftist government and media, but it doesn’t end there. It’s also found in education, sports and entertainment, and now even religion as well. Propaganda tactics include, but are not limited to, fraudulent vaccine safety and efficacy narratives, unscientific notions of gender fluidity, and an illegitimate anti-white racism in the form of critical race theory being taught in schools and celebrated in popular culture. Suppression of speech tactics range from harassment to the de-platforming of those who challenge radical, left-wing ideology. Radical leftist brinkmanship (to the brink of a hot civil war) is exemplified by the BLM riots that did more than $1 billion in property damage in 2020. Democrat wealth redistribution has been ongoing in the forms of excessive taxation and also inflation being used to fund leftist, welfare initiatives. And demographic change is being effectuated through illegal immigration on the southern border. That’s it in a nutshell. But as one of my readers recently said; “we all know the facts now, we have lived the problems in our homes, businesses, and schools. We need practical, simple things we can do in our own towns.”

Countermeasures

The radical left could quickly be reduced to a fringe political minority if freedom loving Americans would do what is necessary. But sacrifices would be required. To defeat the radical left we must be prepared to provoke their hostilities and endure their continued harassment while refusing to be intimidated. Depending upon circumstances, some of us should even be prepared to sacrifice our jobs. Here are some countermeasures that are effective in combating radical leftism:

Resist any injections that you don’t want, regardless of the repercussions. This isn’t antivax. Just remember that nobody but you gets to decide what goes into your body.

Don’t wear masks. Go maskless into businesses that require masks. Let the business owner or manager eject you from the store. Be polite, and don’t resist. Just leave. Then do it again the next day.

Don’t play the preferred pronoun game. It’s no business of ours if a guy thinks of himself as a girl or if a girl thinks of herself as a guy, but we don’t have to participate in any gender dysphoric fantasies. You are not required to refer to a guy as “she.” Don’t do it!

Persuade moderate Democrats. They are likely to have been Democrats since before their party was conquered by the radical leftists. Many of them are generally apolitical so they have been slow to catch on. Bring them up to speed.

Shun the radical leftists. Shunning works, just ask the Amish and radical leftists. The Amish shun the excommunicated. Leftists shun free speech. Stay away from them outside the political arena.

Boycotts do work. Boycotts of British made goods were instrumental in the founding of our nation, and they would be very effective if utilized again today. Unfortunately, many Americans have been unwilling to make the sacrifices necessary to stop radical leftism. They apparently prefer their propagandized sports and entertainment over freedom. Perhaps our societal circumstances have to degrade even further before such Americans fully awaken to the dangers associated with the radical leftist onslaught upon our republic. It’s worth noting, though, that early efforts by 18th century Americans to boycott British goods also failed before eventually gaining traction in response to increasing tyranny.

Vote Republican. I know that many of you have little faith in the Republican Party, and I do share your concerns. But it will be Republicans or radical leftists. Enough said about that.

Get involved in local politics. Here’s an example set by one of my readers, Emily in Connecticut: "It starts in your own town. We are kicking and screaming in my town in CT. Many RINOs on our school board and the head of our Republican town committee have nominated Democrats over and over again. We got together (they call us a fringe group, lol) and voted them out and left them shocked, and now we are the majority. We’ve been called every name in the book for the last 2 years. Kicked out of restaurants, lawn signs stolen from our front yards, police called on us when protesting at school board meetings. Start small. Hold the line. Do not comply. Another helpful tip, anyone can fill out a freedom of information request. Fill them out for anything you want answers to. We sent one to our Superintendent asking about CRT in schools. We sent one to the local hospital asking for Covid data. We sent one to police to find out info on the people who were arrested for stealing signs." Thank you, Emily, for standing up to the radical leftists!

If you can’t take control of your local school boards, consider private schools or homeschooling.

If all else fails, consider moving to a free state. Those of us living under Democrat controlled governments are funding radical leftism through taxation. Change that or get out if you can.

Can We Win the Cold Civil War?

Maybe, but only if we’re willing to do what it takes.
