Carrot Cake - How it's going
I just finished a book called "Show Your Work". Austin Kleon’s idea is that you should show all of the work. The process, not just the finished pieces. In the spirit of showing my work, here’s “how it’s going” with these stories that you’ve been reading each week. This kind of post also serves the purpose of taking some pressure off to get something out the door this week. I’ve got some things in progress but the piece I have in mind about a Mexico trip from 2005 needs four more hours of work. When I look at my calendar, I don’t know where I’ll find that. I will find it, just not sure when. So here’s how my last story “did.” The numbers are small. As I shared on twitter yesterday: Here’s a post that did “better”: Questions: Is this kind of post interesting to you or should I stick to writing and sharing stories? What jumps out at you from these screenshots? If you liked this post from Carrot Cake, why not share it? |
