Kindles are fantastic devices for reading all the books without storing all the books. I mean, don’t get me wrong, paper books are great, and nothing can truly replace the look and feel of them. But they also take up a lot of room, and Kindles solve that particular problem.

But the one downside to Kindles is that it locks you into Amazon’s ecosystem and forces you to buy books from the behemoth. Oh, wait, no, it doesn’t. In addition to borrowing books from the library, you can sideload books from other sources! Don’t know how? We’ll show you in the top story.
