Three Growth Tips 🌱

1. Giveaway = EYEBALLS

If you haven’t launched a product yet, now is the time to do it.

If you have, now is the time to launch another one.

So, build a(nother) product around the content you post on Twitter and give it away for free.

When you do this you’re accomplishing 2 objectives:

a. Getting more eyeballs on your account

When you give something away for free, you can ask people to engage with your tweet which then pushes the algo to show it to more people.

Something like this -

The above tweet got 1224 replies and 585 likes.

Here’s the fun part: I got 808 profile clicks from this tweet alone and made 500+ sales (got an extra $58 on FREE product)!

b. Get contacts of people who're interested in your future products

When people buy your product (even if it’s free), you get to collect emails and contacts of people who're interested in you and your products.

You can add them to your email list, you can promote your future products/services to them and you own that audience.

You don't own the one on social media platforms cause they control them + your audience is gone the day your account is closed for any reason.

Your first product is a start towards your audience + authority.

​2. Create a tribe of mentors

Choose 3-5 creators whose content resonates with you.

Study everything you can find about them and how they create content.

Take notes & reverse-engineer their work:

• Look at their writing style
• Look at the variety of topics they write about
• Look at the accounts they follow and engage with

Combine what you’ve learnt from each one of them and devise your own strategy on content creation.

Now, implement your strategy and analyze the results you get.

If they’re excellent, continue doing what you’re doing.

If they’re good, experiment with small aspects (the timing of your tweets or changing your header) and see if you get better results.

If they’re bad, experiment with big things (writing about novel and fresh topics or using other Twitter features to get notices like Twitter Spaces) and see if you get good results.

3. Build your Source Code 🖥️

Look at tweets you like + tweets that are working.

Put them in notion and build a swipe file or a database that resonates with you.

Go back to this database frequently to analyze if your tweets pass the Average Persuasion and Usefulness Index (APUI).

If they do, keep doing what you’re doing.

If they don’t, start writing more persuasive and useful tweets.

Two Tweet Writing Tips ✍️

1. Write simple sentences

Write sentences that a twelve-year-old could follow.

If they can understand what you’ve written, so can everyone else.

2. Write for the person who is at least two steps behind you

Have you paused before posting an article, a thread, or a video, thinking, “This is stupidly obvious.”?

It’s very common among creators.

You are suffering from The Curse of Knowledge.

To get rid of this just write for the person you were 6 months ago.

If you started learning web3 six months ago, what were the topics you had to google.

Write about those topics.

Don’t fall in the “everyone knows this” trap. Someone desperately needs to hear your message more than you think.
