Here are 10 things I thought were worth sharing this week:

1. Clive Thompson made an online tool that lets you see only the questions in a piece of writing. So, of course, I had to feed it the text of my books. Here are the results.
   
   

2. Another fun procrastination tool: Making music in your browser with Roland50 Studio.
   
   

3. On Tuesday I wrote about how I prepare for interviews, and y’all shared with me your favorite interview tips. My absolute favorite was the acronym “WAIT,” as in: “Why am I talking?” (I want to tattoo it on my wrist!)
   
   

4. For the second year in a row, writer Sam Anderson and I celebrated the writer Michel de Montaigne’s birthday by chatting about writing and drawing.
   
   

5. It’s no longer Mardi Gras, but you can always make a gumbo in your head.
   
   

6. A profile of saxophonist Yasuaki Shimizu. (I love his album, Kakashi, which has been out of print for a while, but somebody from Palto Flats told me more copies are coming.)
   
   

7. Ear candy: a wonderful soundboard recording of Kraftwerk in 1974.
   
   

8. TV: the first season of HBO’s Somebody Somewhere was both raunchy and heartwarming. It reminded me a little of Reservation Dogs in that it’s set somewhere TV usually isn’t set with and the comedy comes from a group of characters dealing with grief. (Related reading: “Laughter in the dark times.”)
   
   

9. I wrote a little post about my diary and playing Wordle with my kids.
