πΉ AI-first e-commerce: Dianthus, Inc., a tech-forward e-commerce brand builder, announced it has secured $11.5 million in seed funding. The investment was led by PJC, Underscore VC, and angel investor Jason Calacanis. Dianthus acquires direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands with serious growth potential. This AI-first e-commerce company company provides founders with a lucrative exit strategy, while giving them the technology, marketing and product development resources needed to effectively scale their businesses.

πΉ $9MM for alternative investing platform: Following the launch of its digital platform for alternative investments last month, Gridline has closed a $9 million funding round. Notable investors include David Dorman and Mark Shoberg. Gridline is a first-of-its-kind digital wealth platform that revolutionizes private market investing by providing individual investors with access to top-performing alternative asset managers. πΉ AngelList raise: The company that helps other people raise money to invest just closed a $100MM round to invest in itself. Details are sketchy, but AngelList Venture is also opening up a community round. The round will be raised on the platform itself, and open to GPs who have made an investment with them over the past year, the blog post stated.

πΉ Fundrise goes industrial: Saltbox, a company providing co-working and warehousing space for up-and-coming e-commerce businesses, said it is working with Fundrise, a real estate investment firm, to expand nationally. Fundrise is putting a $128 million equity investment into the effort, which is part of its larger strategy to invest in well-located, last-mile logistics industrial real estate.
