You're Invited To For(bes) The Culture | News And Insights For Budding Black And Brown Business Leaders

Hi, I’m Jared Council, and I’m the senior editor at the For(bes) The Culture.

My goal is to tell stories about some of the defining issues of our time, while also holding powerful people and organizations accountable for their actions—and inaction.

In this newsletter, sent every other Tuesday, you’ll hear from me, Raquel “Rocky” Harris and other FTC members as we document business and culture trends of interest to Black and Brown communities, and help you follow and process this rather unique chapter of American history following the killing of George Floyd in May 2020.

As you’ll see below, the FTC team produced some outstanding work in that vein in 2021, including its
award-winning State of Black Entrepreneurship series, its FTC 50 Champions list and more. The foundation is solid. I look forward to helping build upon it, and I hope you’ll follow along.
