For us developers, debugging is essential. It gives us a way to find bugs or unexpected behavior in code. It allows us to find the source of the error as it allows us to examine each part of our debugging code separately.

The following are new features in Android Studio Dolphin.

For a variety of reasons outside of the scope of this post, AGP is critical infrastructure for a build. It is not a normal dependency that should be allowed to go through normal dependency resolution. Imagine if a plugin could silently change the version of Gradle your build ran against.

I’m writing everything in C for this post, but there’s nothing very important about the language choice. The concepts are what matter, and they will be the same in any language. One word of warning, I’m figuring some of this out as I go, if you find an error let me know so I can fix it.
