Dakota Johnson's Spectacular Oscars After-Party Gown Stole The Night

It’s safe to say that the 2022 Oscars were a night to remember for many reasons. But testosterone-fueled drama aside, Hollywood turned it out for the red carpet, both at the Academy Awards ceremony and the afterparty circuit. The best fashion and beauty looks were a return to classic glamour, with plenty of sparkles, vibrant color, and risqué sartorial choices among the star-studded attendees.

Personally, I was a bit more intrigued by the looks at the 2022 Oscars After-Party hosted by Vanity Fair. For one thing, there were even more celebrities in attendance (and therefore looks to enjoy), and two, the choices seemed a little bit more high fashion and generally intriguing than the actual awards red carpet. I mean, Zendaya’s Sportmax suit that was tailored to within an inch of its life? Perfection. Dakota Johnson’s feathered Gucci confection? Swoon. Anya Taylor-Joy’s sheer Dior gown and birdcage veil? Exceptional!

So while the news coverage might still be reeling from the night’s most meme-able confrontation, my eyes will continue to revel in the best fashion and beauty moments from the season’s biggest award extravaganza.
