Whoa whoa, you're not off the hook ... today we're ALSO going to give you a sneak peek of the exact process we use to find high-value gigs on LinkedIn.
It's simple. If you're an agency owner or freelancer – of any kind – this email contains the exact steps for finding great leads in minutes.
You can steal these tactics for yourself and unearth $5,000–$10,000+ gigs right now for free. That's not hyperbole. It's a fact.
Ready?
Let's dive in...
First off, you might be asking whether LinkedIn is a good place to find high-paying clients at all?
The answer is a resounding YES.
The business owners you want to reach... the ones that make great clients and you can't seem to find enough of...
Yep - they're not hanging out on Dribbble.
They're on LinkedIn.
They're on LinkedIn and probably getting spammed by all kinds of automated DM pitches. (Aka LinkedIn scams).
That's why reaching them with a human (non-automated MASS DM approach) is easier – and a lot more effective than you think.
That's what we're going to cover today.
We're going to walk-through how to find WARM high-paying clients on LinkedIn in less than 5 minutes per day.
What makes them WARM?
They're already looking for a freelancers or agency like you
They are ready to hire and buy right now
See, that's what I love most about LinkedIn: you are in control of what kind of clients you pursue.
You control your search parameters, how many clients you reach out to, etc. It's all entirely up to you.
The problem is finding a reliable, repeatable process THAT WORKS for generating clients.
Now I don't have all the answers.
You could probably right a book on using LinkedIn to find clients.
However, I do have a proven repeatable process that has resulted in hundreds of 5 and 6 figure projects each and every year.
This way, you’ll be looking up the first three phrases while removing anything that contains “development” to ensure that you don’t waste your time sifting through ads that are not relevant to you.
Step 2: Click on the “Content” tab to filter results.
Once you have a search that you like, next, the thing you'll want to do is click the More button in the navigation and select Content or Posts from the dropdown.
This is because by default LinkedIn will show you search results sorted by people, not necessarily searching the content of their posts.
Therefore by selecting the content or Posts option LinkedIn will show you the posts you want to see from potential clients that contain the terms you want.
Step 3: Sort by Latest results
In the upper right corner you’ll also see a “Sort by:” option.
By default, LinkedIn will show you what it thinks is most relevant, regardless of the post date.
We don't want that, so click on it and select “Latest.”
By doing this you’re making sure that you'll only seeing the most recent postings. Since we want to reach out to companies that are still in the hiring process, recency is important.
Step 4: Review the results
Continuing with our website designer example - these are some of the results that pop up for me.
Now, let’s review what two leads look like and see if we can determine which one is a good and which one is a bad one.
------ #1 ------
👍 GOOD: Here's why:
Ad links to an RFP (which provides a real budget)
Organization (Colorado Trust) looks legit and high-quality
Decision-maker is the one posting on LinkedIn
Deadline gives enough time to apply
Great high-value project (website redesign)
This is the type of lead we will regularly feature on the Referral Newsletter - and wanna know the surprising part? When we've asked these types of clients how many responses they received in the past, the answers are usually shockingly low.
Despite being great gigs, freelancers and agencies don't make them a priority to respond. (Or they don't find them in time, which is where our Referral Newsletter comes in.)
Okay, so now let’s look at an example of an ad not worth replying:
------ #2 ------
👎 BAD: Here’s why:
It's outside of the web design niche
Mentions low-paying website (people per hour)
Looks like another freelancer, so the owner is likely sub-contracting which means unlikely to pay well
This person is based in a much lower paying country, also indicating a low budget
This is the type of lead that we filter out for subscribers of our Referral Newsletter. I've often said, the value of the Referral Newsletter is as much in the leads we don't send as it is in the ones we do. We eliminate time-wasting gigs like the one above so you can focus on the stuff that really matters.
Now to do this yourself, it takes some time. You'll want to thoroughly examine a company and their job post.
Getting hired by a bad client can be an awful experience costing stress, headaches, anxiety, and money.
This is why I created the Referral Newsletter so that you can just focus on the work.
Speaking of, let's get to the last step.
Step 5: Respond to the good opportunities
Finding a good opportunity is only 50% of the job done. The rest depends on one action: applying.
By signing up right now you’ll become part of a select group of freelancers and agencies who get first dibs on contracts which would normally require 10+ hours per week to find on your own.
And guess what I’m so confident that you’ll love the newsletter, that I back every purchase with a 30 day risk-free guarantee.
All it takes is landing one client from the newsletter to pay for your subscription for life.
If you don’t love it, I’ll personally give you 100% of your money back and even cover the card processing fees.
You reserve your spot in our Referral Newsletter today for just $49 (limited time 50% off).
Your total subscription cost pear year comes out to less than $4 per day. That's less than what you paid for that cup of coffee in your hand.
But that cup of coffee probably won't generate your next $10,000 project. So check out what these freelancers and agencies has to say:
“For the first time in my career, I feel like I’m doing the right type of work.” – Kevin Chang, Freelancer
“It’s almost more like getting projects via word of mouth rather than applying to random jobs.”
“You sign up and stuff just comes in. It’s a perfect way to get your feet wet.” – Trevor Wernisch, Freelancer
“It’s helped us calm any stress and fears, and approach our business calmly.” – Joey Kirk, Founder, Made by Munsters
And hurry because this offer expires soon.
You’ve got until Saturday April 09, 2022 to sign up.
