Meet The 27-Year-Old Billionaire On The Forbes 400 Cover

Bolt’s Ryan Breslow has boosted the value of his fintech to the moon by promising an Amazon-style checkout to millions of online retailers. Now the newly minted 27-year-old billionaire is making a lot of noise—and powerful critics—challenging the tech industry’s culture. With his company valued at $11 billion and in the face of widespread skepticism, Breslow is determined to prove that Bolt is more than just a flash in the pan, and that he’s more than just a lightning rod.

Read the story of the youngest billionaire to make the Forbes 400 cover in 2022. And if you’re interested in reading Forbes’ full definitive 2022 list of the richest Americas, here you go.

Exclusive Scoop From Assistant Managing Editor Steve Bertoni:
Under 30 Takes On The World Government Summit

If the Under 30 community were a city, it would look a lot like Dubai. Bold, international, innovative and daring—the Middle East’s tech, venture and banking hub was the perfect setting to host a global group of Under 30 pioneers.

On March 29,
Forbes and our colleagues at Forbes Middle East created a special Under 30 content track at Dubai’s World Government Summit, held at the $7 billion, futuristic World Expo site. Over two days, our Under 30 group hosted panels covering how to stop the next pandemic, creating responsible AI, food sustainability and digital education, plus an influential roundtable on “Reimagining Everything.” Off-stage, we dove into Dubai’s world famous food and nightlife scenes too.

One highlight was a private conversation with Dubai’s Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. We discussed NFTs, Dubai’s brash plan to become the world’s crypto capital and the advantage of being the region’s most diverse and international city—plus we got an open invitation to go skydiving next time we’re in town. (Check out his must-follow Instagram handle

For Under 30 global adventures, Dubai was just the start. The world is open, and
Forbes is back on the road. Next stop: our first Under 30 Africa Summit in Botswana, kicking off April 24. It will be unforgettable. Come along!
