In this example from Kushaan, users are rewarded with additional days on their free trial for completing tasks related to onboarding.

This way, users have a clear incentive to invest time into getting onboarded.

Even if a user completes just one of those tasks, they're more likely to stick around.

And onboarding is just one area ripe for gamification.
