Poem-a-Day - What poetry is bringing to the world

Dear Reader,

When you read Poem-a-Day, you are not alone. At any given moment each day, many thousands of individuals across the country and beyond are reading along with you, reminding us, as Toi Derricotte has said, that we are “a part of the big, wonderful openness that poetry is bringing to the world.”

Today, to ensure we can continue to share this series, I’m asking for your help to support Poem-a-Day, the only daily poetry series publishing new work by today’s poets.

In the past year, more than 30,000 new subscribers have begun reading Poem-a-Day—more than we ever could have anticipated. Please help us reach our goal of raising at least $100,000 this National Poetry Month. Donations during this month’s special campaign will enable us to offer this life-enriching series for free, and to pay the guest editors and poets it features.

As we head toward the end of National Poetry Month, please consider a special donation to make Poem-a-Day, and the community of readers it encourages, possible.
