New Old Age - Why we don’t achieve our goals
There’s thing we want to achieve. Big things. Ambitious things. But they slip through our fingers year after year. Why? Thinking about goals is all good and well. But imaginary goals alone won’t get us to where we want to go. If we have a goal we want to achieve but there’s no project attached to it, that’s called a dream. A lot of people think they have a goal when in fact they have a dream. (Hey, dreams a great. But they’re not real goals. They’re not achievable.) When we decide to commit and begin taking practical steps to make a project a reality, then it becomes a real goal with a real direction and a point of completion. That’s how we turn dreams into reality. Forget dream goals. Forge real goals. If you liked this post from New Old Age, why not share it? |
