How I Run 3 Small Businesses Without Compromising My Life
Hi there, happy Monday!
As you start out the week, what are the areas where you spend a lot of time doing something? Is there a system you could build to simplify it?
When I read that question, it sparked several thoughts for me and I’m putting systems into place now to make some changes. That question comes from our guest author this week, Dawn Scott, who runs three small businesses all while holding space for her family, health, and mental well-being.
This week we also cover starting a blog, Buffer features and tools you might not know about, and the best video editing software for marketers. If any of these posts spark questions for you — send them our way on Twitter or Instagram!
Hope you have a lovely start to the week and we’ll see you next Monday!
👇 The latest from the blog In this guest post by Dawn Scott, she talks about how she maintains balance while running three businesses. According to Dawn, “when I left corporate life, it was because I wanted to create more time for my family, my health, and my mental well-being. Even while running three businesses, keeping space for all of that is a priority.” Here are the tools and practices that make maintaining space possible for her. Blogs can be powerful tools for small businesses through elevating reach and building credibility. In this post, we go into the specifics of how to start your own blog, complete with a few examples of blogs we quite enjoyed reading. We might be known for social media scheduling, but Buffer is a flexible, multi-use tool that goes beyond only scheduling and even social media. In this post, we highlight a few features and tools you might now know about that can help with everything from social media engagement to creating a simple link in bio page for your brand. 👀 Recently updated Ever wonder what the best tools are for editing videos? We recently updated this post of 19 different video editing softwares to try, and many of them are free.
