Hi Everyone! I’m dropping in to tell you about a workshop I’m running tomorrow, all about boosting your freelance confidence. Confidence is something that comes up in most if not all coaching sessions. When I talk about a CV with a freelancer, it’s confidence that stops them updating it, or adding something they’ve done and curating it to look super-shiny. Social media often comes up in coaching - the confidence to post, to do video, to share things. And there’s confidence when it comes to networking and meetings, too. Now the world is opening up and there are IRL events, we need the confidence to turn up, to introduce ourselves and try to make connections. Confidence is yet another thing we need to find the ‘oomph’ for, right? So I decided to explore this with an informal workshop. The tickets are just £5 as this is the first one, and I want to see what comes from it. Perhaps a course, or new group coaching. But, for now, it’s just about us coming together and saying ‘I want to feel more confident!’ The workshop is from 1pm to 2pm, to hopefully include those who have client work and can come on their lunchbreak. In fact, feel free to bring some lunch if you like! It’s an hour long, and there’ll be one worksheet, where we’ll look at what challenges our confidence as a freelancer and what we ARE confident in. At the end, if you’d like to, you’ll be able to set yourself a confidence challenge and be accountable to me. If you fancy it, you can sign up via Eventbrite - I hope to see you there! xJenny
