The DO Lectures - Don't waste a recession.

Hi there,

People do the opposite in a recession to what they should do.

They play it safe.

They stick to a formula that they ALREADY know has stopped working.

And, because they hold on to the old way, they end up losing.

And YET.

This is a time for creativity and brave ideas.

It is a time for rebirth.

It is a time for accelerating innovation.

You must learn to LET GO of what used to work.

To make space for what will work.

You want to come out of this stronger than you went in.

If you play not to lose, you mostly lose.

THIS IS A TIME FOR YOUR BEST IDEAS, NOT YOUR SAFEST.

Your ideas are NOW more valuable to your business than at any other point.

You CAN’T AFFORD to be busy.

You CAN’T AFFORD to be average.

You must think.

This conversation… Oh boy.

This took place at my workshop two weeks ago.

An amazing woman came up to me in between lessons, and she said:

"I just want to say thank you."

I said: "That’s my pleasure, but how did I help?"

She said she had done our online course, and she had learned how to do a BIG IDEA.

And she had just raised £1 Million for her business.

I said "That’s, (no swear words used, honest), cool."

I was secretly doing backflips in my head.

What she had learned is the importance of an idea.

Pause.

Reflect on that point.
