290 million Americans support universal background checks so teenage loners can’t walk into a gun shop and buy military-grade assault weapons and ammunition and shoot innocent people to death. How can the will of 290 million Americans be defied by just fifty power-mad public servants?

How can Texas Governor Greg Abbott give a press conference surrounded by a bunch of useless good ol’ boys offering dismay and empty prayers when he signed the legislation that let this happen. He literally pulled the trigger.

If Texan Republicans are so keen to see young boys and girls murdered in their schools, why not just line them all up and execute them now.
