Joining a mastermind can add some additional motivation and accountability in the early days.  

With over 600 successful matches under our belt, we have brought together founders from all walks of life, from over 50 countries across 20 time zones with a collective $150M+ in ARR.

Based on your feedback, we’re doing things a little differently for pre-revenue masterminds to help you have more success with your masterminds.  

How does it work? 

1. You'll complete our Mastermind Matching Application here. It takes about 10 minutes to complete.

2. Then, we'll work our magic (i.e. our proprietary process)to match you up with between 5-7 pre-revenue or very early-stage founders like you.  

To do this, we focus on a number of key data points and applicant narrative responses to get a feel for each entrepreneur’s experience level, expectations, work and personality styles, and other key criteria that allows us to make informed matches. 

These key data points include: 

• Location 
• Time zone 
• Language 
• Experience Level
• Goals 
• Skill Set
• Industry served 
   

3. Then, a real-life human reviews every single application and mastermind group. 

4. Within 2 weeks of the application period closing, we will email you with an introduction, a startup guide, some recommendations on how to begin your first meeting, and a few extra tools that will make it easier for you to start solving the world’s (okay. maybe just your own) problems.

5. (NEW) In the beginning of July, you’ll also be invited to four 60-minute group mentor sessions hosted by a subject matter expert within the community that is designed to help you tackle some of the most common challenges that pre-revenue founders face. 

These group mentor sessions will occur on the last Tuesday of the month at 1pm CST, and are only for people who sign up for a pre-revenue mastermind. 

Here are the topics for these four mentor sessions:  
 

• 1st month - Founder mindset 
• 2nd month - Jobs-To-Be-Done (JTBD)  interviews / idea validation 
• 3rd month -  Getting your first few sales
• 4th month -  Finding product-market fit 

While we strongly encourage one to tune into these sessions live, they will be recorded.  

So, how much does it cost? 

We price our Mastermind Matching Service Application based on your self-reported annual revenue.  

Pre-Revenue - $10K ARR = $250 USD 

Our aim is for buy-in. If you apply, you should be committed to this process.  As a result, we will not offer refunds unless we are unable to match you into a group (and we will offer to retry next application period if we cannot).  

If you quit, are unresponsive, or are otherwise not committed to joining a mastermind, we will keep your money and buy the other members of your group coffee, on you.

Q: Is a mastermind right for me? 
Almost any entrepreneur can benefit from joining a mastermind if they have the right mindset. If you are looking to grow your business or extra accountability, we'd encourage you to apply. 

Q: Do you match non-US-based entrepreneurs? 
Absolutely! To date, we've matched entrepreneurs on every continent except Antarctica and across 20 different time zones. 

Q: My business isn't making any money. Can I join a mastermind for free? 
The mastermind fee is designed to be based on revenue / ARR level. Pre-revenue startup founders pay $250 to join a mastermind. This is designed as a monetary incentive to ensure that all founders are committed to participating in their mastermind. 

Q: What happens if you can’t find a suitable mastermind for me? 
In the unlikely chance, we can’t find a suitable mastermind for you, you can either choose to be added back into the next matching pool or get a full refund.  
Q: I got matched with a direct competitor. Will you rematch me? 
A: We go through extensive lengths to make sure we don't pair up direct competitors. However, if something fell through the cracks, just send us an email at support@microconf.com. We'll re-match you as soon as we find a good fit for you.
