SEO Chatter - Let's talk about how SEO works
I'm a half cup full today Reader.
I'm dragging this morning because my Keurig machine decided to flake out on me and barely brewed a drop of coffee. Truth is it's been on the fritz for quite a while now but I've tried to ignore the failing signs and push through anyways.
But today the illustrious Keurig finally quit on me.
Which drove me to promptly tear it apart and see what was going wrong on the inside.
And of course, the machine was completely clogged with white stuff because I NEVER descaled it. Which the instruction manual clearly states you should do every 3 to 6 months.
Lesson learned on my part.
It obviously pays to know how the things you rely on ever day operate so you know how to take care of them properly for both their benefit and your own.
Which then got me to thinking about how SEO works. And how a lot people in my tribe are cranking away on their websites trying to increase the rankings in Google but have no clear idea about how search engine optimization works under the hood.
So I wrote a blog post about it for you here:
How SEO Works for Websites: Search Engine Optimization Explained
You'll learn about the innerworkings of the most important ranking factors for Google, including the importance of optimizing for Google's Caffeine algorithm.

Stephen Hockman
