  • More empathy in corporate comms: Mpathic raised $4 million for software that analyzes workplace conversations, helps identify potential misinterpretations and adjusts in real-time.

  • Taking aim at customer churn: Tingono, which uses AI to assist software businesses in identifying signs of customer churn, raised $6.7 million.

Former Facebook exec leads health venture: Julie Rezek, the former global category director for the social media giant, has pulled together six healthcare companies under one roof at Bellevue-Wash.-based Advata.
