Teens Save Couple From New Year’s Fire

Three Maine teens driving home in the early hours of New Year's Day discovered a burning farmhouse and rushed inside to save a sleeping couple. See photos here.

Cousins Robert and Kaleb Weymouth, 16 and 14, and friend Colby Simmons, 16, found the husband asleep on a couch dangerously close to advancing flames that had spread from the barn.

The teens woke the sleeping couple, helped them gather essential belongings, including medication, and dodged falling debris and propane blasts to get the couple to safety.
