Bootstrapped Podcast - Joining TinySeed Europe, with Nick Swan

Hi Bootstrappers,

When I started my own company, I was deadset on keeping it forever as a 1-person company. I enjoyed the challenge of doing everything myself.

But then I found I was neglecting the bits of my business I didn't enjoy, and the business was suffering because of it. So I eventually embraced building up a team. This was an important step to creating the healthy business I have today.

In this week's episode of Bootstrapped, I talk to Nick Swan, founder of SEOTesting, who went through a similar change to his thinking.

Nick and I chat about:

  • why Nick decided to no longer be a 1-person show
  • taking on a co-founder for his already-established business.
  • selling a small part of his company in order to join TinySeed Europe (a startup accelerator designed for founders who would traditionally bootstrap).

Listen to this week's episode of Bootstrapped.fm.

Until next time,
