Wink Smart Homes Are Broken Again: Why Are People Still Paying?

Read in Browser

July 8, 2022

Do you remember Wink? The smart home hub and company I’ve previously called a dumpster fire? I may have been a tad more kind, but not by much. Somehow the company has continued to live since last I wrote about its abysmal state of existence. I warned people to get out and not throw any money at the company. And yet… somehow… the company was still around, and people were still giving it money, which is crazy. And now? Well, check out the top story because sometimes I can’t stop being right.

Wait, wait, before you go, though! Review Geek is hiring! That’s right! We’re looking for an awesome (and experienced) tech writer and editor to join the best and snarkiest club in the galaxy. Our new Associate Editor will get to write about tech, wrangle freelancers, and even whip up the occasional review. Does that sound like something you’d like to do? Or maybe you have a friend who’d love that gig? Check out our job post.
