It’s easy to accidentally underestimate something. For example, I underestimate how long it will take me to get ready practically every morning. I underestimate how much influence social media ads have on my online shopping habits (spoiler: a lot). But underestimating how much money you’ll need in retirement is a serious situation. It’s also, unfortunately, a pretty common one.
