As you may have seen, the Roca Current recently passed the 100,000 newsletter subscriber mark! Our community has more than doubled in the last 2 months, suggesting that people might be getting tired of the whole Big News thing.

When we quit our jobs to launch RocaNews in 2020, we dreamed of reaching where we are now. We are sending you this email because you have been one of our most loyal readers and are making our dreams possible. Thank you.

As motivated as we were about our mission, we knew we couldn't do it alone. If it hadn't worked, we had an "social network for dogs" business plan ready to go. Unfortunately, our canine focus group session wasn't very productive...

We are working every day to take down Big News, which is using fear and politics to divide and scare for profit. It’s a privilege to deliver the news to you each day, and we promise to continue delivering nonpartisan and entertaining news as we grow from 100k, to 500k, 1M and millions more newsletter readers.

Our mission — to improve the world with better news — remains the same, but we are more fired up about it than ever!
