A 3-founder success story

In 2013, three founders created LeadDyno, which grew into a suite of affiliate marketing, email and analytics tools that help online merchants grow affiliate programs.

After nearly a decade in business, the SaaS company was acquired by the investment firm SureSwift Capital.

The trio of co-founders met through the Sacramento entrepreneur community. Here's more on their story:

One of the most rewarding parts of building this brand has been helping entrepreneurs who want to sell their company but have no idea where to start.

Yes, we do that through our content, but I've also talked one-on-one with business owners who need support. Several of them have gone on to exit!

Early on, when entrepreneurs asked me for a chat about how to sell their business, I felt like I wasn't qualified, wasn't knowledgeable enough, to help them.

But I took the calls because many entrepreneurs don't know where else to go for advice. They want someone to talk to who they can trust, who doesn't have skin in the game. I know what that's like because I've been in those shoes.

Through these conversations, I realized I do know enough to be a sounding board. I know enough to point them in the right direction and help them figure out next steps.

These calls have been a lot of fun. It feels good to help business owners reap the rewards for all their hard work, and as a bonus, I learn more about the needs of our target demographic. Conversations spark all sorts of ideas for content we can create that entrepreneurs need.

So now, I want to talk to more entrepreneurs who are considering selling their business, whether next month or next year.
