2/ Deprival - Super Reaction Tendency

We strongly prefer avoiding loss to acquiring gains

It’s very easy to use in your marketing

Simply, pitch what the prospect could be LOSING vs what they could be GAINING

One simple example of this is using FOMO

You can incorporate this in your marketing messages, email marketing, or your main funnel

3/ Curiosity Tendency

My favorite one - Works amazing on Facebook

Your goal is to keep your audience on the edge of their seats with your prospecting ads

This is a pleasant motivational state with an intention to seek out more information

Hence, a strong desire to explore

4/ Reciprocation Tendency

This bias states that people desire to 'pay back'

How can you use this for e-com?

Imagine a client purchased from your store and just received the product

Ask them for a review + a story on your product page or a Facebook ad through an email

5/ Authority-Misinfluence Tendency

On a remarketing level, people have already shown interest in your product

How can you ensure the sale?

Humans were born to follow leaders, we are organized to follow hierarchies + authorities

6/ Social-Proof Tendency

This one needs no explanation

9/ Availability-Misweighing Tendency

We are limited to making decisions based upon WHAT is available to them at that moment

The saying, ’you don’t know, what you don’t know, rings very true with this tendency

There are very few people who will do more research to find the very best solution for what they need and will go with:

- remember, or

- see very often
