I was reminded last week that we are just under 5 months until Christmas. And that means we are rounding 3rd base on the year to another Spotify Wrapped, which usually arrives in early December.

Anyone else think about who might be in their top 5 for the year? I do, excessively.

Some artists I listen to more than others week in/week out, so there’s a better chance for those artists and bands to rate high on my Wrapped.

I’m looking at you Style Council. I can almost guarantee TSC will make yet another appearance in my top 5 - perhaps even a repeat of last year at #1.

I enjoy the holiday season, which is fast-approaching, and with it another edition of Spotify Wrapped. I tend to think about Spotify’s personalized ‘year in music’ all the time as I crisscross the platform, but definitely things start to heat up as we get ready to wave summer goodbye and welcome the fall… and Wrapped!

🔥 Spotify Debuts Separate Play and Shuffle Buttons

Spotify is fully separating its play and shuffle buttons — but only for Premium subscribers. The company is beginning to roll out individual buttons for the two functions, which will replace the combined play / shuffle button that’s currently at the top of playlists and artist pages. The change is expected to hit Android and iOS devices “in the coming weeks.
