Still missing rearview mirrors and windshield wiper, but probably close to the final production one.

Tesla Cybertruck prices and specs will change
Elon just confirmed it, in case people still had their doubts. Between raises in prices all across the board, a product that was announced almost 3 years ago, and many iterations, this seemed pretty clear to most people.

International

The first Australian Customer Tesla Model Y has been delivered in Canberra 📷
Great news for our Australian friends, the first Model Y has now been delivered in Australia. Model Y is selling like hotcakes in every country that is getting delivered, and we have no doubts that our Aussie friends will really like it!

Model S/X is available to order in Europe 📷
It was about time! Finally, folks in Europe can order the new Model S and Model X, with estimated deliveries starting around Christmas. I wonder if my friend Lars from Todos Electricos will get a new Model S, what do you think Lars?

2022 Tesla annual stockholder meeting notes by DBurkland
Our friend Dan did a great job capturing the most important pieces of the presentation at the shareholder's event, and although some are stock/production related, other bits are pretty interesting:
  • Tesla has produced more energy than it consumes, this includes vehicle charging.
  • Supercharging V4 is set to be deployed next year.
  • FSD beta tracking to be well over 100M miles by end of 2022.

Energy graph by elevation 📷
Cool UI prototype of what how an energy graph by elevation could look like. To be clear, the current calculation already takes into account elevation, this is just changing the Y axis to plot the graph based on the elevation, instead of just the percentage of battery left.

Model Y

Tesla equips China-made Model Y with a new airbag for extra safety
Tesla is continuously iterating on all fronts, but one of the most important ones for the company is safety. This week, Tesla China introduced a new airbag for extra safety in their Model Y, and as with other changes before, we can assume we will see something similar in cars from the other factories.

🤓 What the acronym

As a Tesla fan, I find myself sometimes having to remember what are all those acronyms, here is a list of the ones you can find in this issue.
  • PPF -  Paint Protection Film
  • FSD -  Full Self-Driving
