This week’s story is going to be a fun one.

The story takes place in the bustling city of London, even more precisely on Kensington Street—by far one of the most expensive postcodes in the entire United Kingdom.

A middle-aged man of what appears to be Indian descent parks his Rolls-Royce in front of one of the private banks there and proceeds to go inside.

He approaches the counter with the intent of taking out a £5,000 loan as he’s about to leave for France on a short business trip.

After asking for an ID, the clerk replies —

“Sure thing Mr. Sites, but we’ll need some sort of collateral.”

Mr. Site agrees and puts the keys of his Rolls-Royce on the counter.

Here he says —

“My Rolls-Royce is parked out front. You’ll find all the necessary documents in the glove compartment. That should be more than enough to cover the collateral.”

The clerk looks intrigued, but since everything Mr. Site said is true, he proceeds with the paperwork and grants the gentleman his loan.

They proceeded to take the car into the bank’s underground garage, but now, the story of the man who left a £250,000 car as collateral for a £5,000 loan is the main topic of discussion inside the bank.

The employees go on to Google Mr. Site and discover the man is worth more than £100 million.

A few days go by and Mr. Site returns to the bank and he proceeds to pay the £5,000 loan back and the interest to it which adds up to £15.41.

They process his payment and give the man his keys back.

But before he leaves, one of the clerks joins the conversation —

“Sir sorry to bother you, but we’re quite puzzled by your actions. We know you’re a very wealthy man, so why would you bother taking a loan for a mere £5,000?”

Mr. Site smiles and says —

“That’s where you’re confused my young man. You’re focused on the low, while I’m focused on the interest. Where else in central London could I park my Rolls-Royce for a week for only £15, and still expect it to be there when I come back.”

He then gets into his Rolls-Royce and drives away…
